Even today I am in Seattle, where Amazon Unveiled its Checkout-Free Grocery Store declaring to the world that we all can all wave goodbye to queues.

“The shop uses computer vision, sensors and deep learning algorithms to track purchases, and has been in development for four years.
Customers use an app to swipe into the store, which tracks in realtime items’ removal from the shelves.
When a shopper leaves the store, called Amazon Go, a receipt is sent directly to their phone via the Go app.” – Huffington Post
This is technology going full circle after challenging the world with Ebooks and online stores now Amazon challenges the physical store with unique technology.
If this doesn’t tell you the world has changed then I don’t know what else will. While many see technology as computers, internet etc but technology is truly the ability to do what you did yesterday more efficiently and more effectively today.
Truthfully it’s applying the tools we have today to solving today’s problems and creating a better life for us and our communities
At home here in Nigeria and even around the world with the increasing issues of dwindling resources, increased poverty and joblessness as well as a new breed of terrorism.
The challenges we face today cannot be solved by yesterday’s thinking. The problems we have and inherited come from decades of neglect and our current reliance on old methodology, technology and ideology.
Innovation and creativity inspired by righteous inspiration and thinking as opposed to motivated by greed and selfishness. Paul Zane Pilzer says “Human ideas create technology and innovation. It is ideas–not technology–that are the fundamental force creating wealth.”
I know the challenges we face are enormous and sometimes scary but look around you and see that in spite of all this it’s a great time to be alive only if we be is part of the solution and not part of the problem.
