Sit Walk & Stand!
Watchman Nee, a Chinese theologian, has a book out about Ephesians called Sit, Walk, Stand! And for 3 days this month we took time out to fast and pray get the revelation of one of the greatest insights in the Bible for us believers. The outcome brought to the fore, our need to understand our position then walking in that revelation to receiving Gods instruction, creates for us the ability to stand up to whatever challenges we face or to the desires of our heart!
In an insightful article titled The Believer’s Position in Christ by Iain Gordon, he explains these positions must be 1. Are not Experienced, 2. Are not Progressive 3. Not based on human merit, 4. Eternal by Nature, 5. Only known by Revelation

Exodus 14:13-18 (NKJV) 13 And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever. 14 The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”
Moses seems to start from a place of confidence knowing God will deliver His people from the Egyptians and with confidence makes this statement of faith! Then he seems to turn to God concerned or crying based on Gods repose next!
15 And the Lord said to Moses, “Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward.
Then God responses by giving Moses instructions from a position of victory and guarantees the victory over the Egyptians and indeed they see them no more
16 But lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it. And the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea. 17 And I indeed will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them. So I will gain honor over Pharaoh and over all his army, his chariots, and his horsemen. 18 Then the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord, when I have gained honor for Myself over Pharaoh, his chariots, and his horsemen.”
This to me is the key to answered prayers, sit, walk and stand! We ,USA learn to spend our time sitting at Jesus’ feet to learn of Him and when it’s time to walk, walk with his instructions and direction which in itself guarantees a victory stand against the wiles of the devil!
We are to live here forever!
