In a recent post Anthony Robbins begins his presentation with “There are 2 types of people this time of year: Those who put everything else in their life on hold as they get swept up in the energy of the holidays…

And those who use the energy of this season to FUEL their growth through the end of the year and beyond. And for those who aren’t going to wait around and put their goals and dreams on hold until 2022, now is the time to recommit and take massive action to keep “

Closer to home Rev Gbade Ogunlans challenges us saying “It’s time for serious planning of 2022, please if you have not started, start now…with a pen and paper “

Bill Johnson in explaining Proverbs 29:1

Where there is no vision the people perish represent it by saying “With vision we come alive”

If there is ever a time to renew, review or even re-establish our personal, professional, business and national vision its now more than ever.

Dr. Myles Munroe whose unique teaching on vision brought the church alive in new ways in his day taught that “Purpose is when you know and understand what you were born to accomplish. Vision is when you see it in your mind and begin to imagine it.”

We must be proactive in approaching 2022 in spite of the challenges of the last few years from the coronavirus to economic and leadership challenges we face, we must remember that we are “Becoming a People of Grace!”

Jesus died and rose again to do more than just get you to heaven. God has plans for you today…plans He prepared in advance for you. In Chuck Swindoll’s practical study of the book of Ephesians he reminds us that we were not saved by good works…but for them.

God’s grace can transform our thinking, our prejudices, our marriages and families, our jobs—and our incessant spiritual and emotional battles. Jesus died and rose for our salvation—yes—and that we might become a people of grace.

Austen C. Ukachi carefully explains that there is no other way can best describe Christianity than to say that it is a people of grace. This means that what we are now and what we would be in the future is owed to the grace of God. We are nothing on our own, except for God’s grace.

Peter said: “who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy” (I Peter 2:10 NKJV). The gospel is all about God’s grace through Jesus Christ. That’s why Paul calls it “the gospel of the grace of God” Acts 20:24) and “the word of his grace” Acts 14:3).

I would like close with a few Grace quotes for consideration: “Jesus took what I deserved so I could get what He deserved.” & “When we try to get through our efforts what we already have by grace, we put ourselves under the power of the law.”

“God is not pre-occupied with sin, He’s already dealt with it.” So must we and “It is impossible to sin out of who you are in God – every sin a believer commits comes from believing a lie.” In the end “Grace is the atmosphere created by love that makes faith the only reasonable response”

Faith is substance of things expected – the evidence of things not seen – what do you see for 2022 you need to go for & please let’s not just sit down waiting let’s step out in faith on His word and His promises

I have to move forward in faith in Gods plan and vision for me, my family and our church and ministry because we can’t stop and as Martin Luther King Jr.said

“Faith is taking the first step even when you can’t see the whole staircase.”

God bless & Happy New Year
